ABOUT THE WINE

La Poussie, jewel of the Sancerre vineyards, is a voluptuous, aromatic wine. The exceptional vineyard site with its natural amphitheater of an almost perfect semi-circle of 180° make it one of the most unique in the world.

Tasting Notes
The color is a bright crimson red. On the nose, intense aromas of red berries such as raspberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by notes of smoke, toasted bread and cherry. Lively, fruity attack in the mouth, then round and easy to drink. Complex finish with subtle spicy and woody notes. It has a rich tannic character, which ensures the evolution of the wine.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand and sorted for color and perfection. Long maceration (10 to 20 days). Slow fermentation at high temperatures (86 degrees Fahrenheit). Raised in vats and oak barrels in variable proportions depending on the vintage.
